Relief Lending Group (RLG) is a private, for-profit organization established to provide innovative financing arrangements for those Canadians wishing to make donations to charity.
The philanthropic aim is to assist in the fundraising efforts of charities that fill a clearly identifiable need to help those not currently supported by traditional fundraising means.
Charities designated by RLG strive to assist those who are trapped in the cycle of suffering.
- Charity must meet or surpass its dispersement obligations.
- Charity will not issue inflated donation receipts.
RLG serves select charitable organizations by assisting in their fundraising activities. The charity is NOT required to pay RLG any fundraising or promotional fees.
Additionally, RLG finances Canadians’ donations to chosen charities; thereby enabling Canadians (at all income levels) to give more than they ever thought possible.
Through RLG Canadians can take advantage of the tax incentives associated with making donations to charity.
By applying the principles of modern business financing and by adhering to the Canadian Income Tax Act, RLG enables Canadians to maximize the amount of their donation while reaping the benefits of a tax credit for the total amount contributed.
The tax benefits associated with the donation apply to the year in which the contribution was made; regardless of whether the donation was self-funded or financed.
